Liz Pearce

LPC

I believe therapy is a collaborative process between myself and my clients, where my goal is to create a safe space where clients can critically think and explore their inner world. I am committed to supporting individuals to live purpose filled, meaningful lives by helping them to recognize their strengths that will help them foster resiliency in the face of hardship. I am interested in helping clients who are experiencing life transitions, anxiety and depression that is impacting functioning, and trauma related to current or past situations.

I have worked for the past 7 years treating physical health through nutrition education. What I have learned is that for many people, struggles with eating can be a coping mechanism or symptom of anxiety, depression, trauma, or other mental health issues. I am excited to meet you where you are and help you live the life you want to live.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition from Southern Utah University and finished my dietetic internship with Utah State University to become a Registered Dietitian. I received a Master of Interdisciplinary Studies degree from Southern Utah University which has helped me combine my studies in nutrition and mental health. I am currently finishing a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University.
